Who We Are
Tavola Talucci is a crowdsourced funded café/bakery/pizzeria/trattoria. All menu items are classic dishes from Milano, Bologna and Napoli Italy. We are an Illy café delivering Artisti Del Gusto, a pizzeria delivering classic thin crust wood fired Neapolitan Pizza, a bakery or Pasticceria e Panetteria creating classic Italian and European sweets and breads and a trattoria, an Italian eating establishment, less formal than a ristorante, but more formal than an osteria. There are generally no printed menus and the service is casual.
Sam Talucci, owner, Chef, has 30 year background in restaurant development, has launched restaurants both domestically and internationally, has led a successful IPO (Initial Public Offering) for a restaurant group.
What is Crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people, typically via the internet. One early-stage equity expert described it as “the practice of raising funds from two or more people over the internet towards a common Service, Project, Product, Investment, Cause, and Experience, or SPPICE.”
The crowdfunding model is fueled by three types of actors: the project initiator who proposes the idea and/or project to be funded; individuals or groups who support the idea; and a moderating organization (the "platform") that brings the parties together to launch the idea. The Platform that we are choosing to use is INDIEGOGO.
This is a Rewards Crowdfunding: entrepreneurs pre-sell a product or service to launch a business concept without incurring debt or sacrificing equity/shares. The rewards list will be uploaded when we launch the INDIEGOGO platform.
